Quiet retreat with charming hosts
I had a wonderful stay with warm hospitality from Yvonne and Paul. The room was elegantly decorated and featured delightful personal touches like homemade shortbread and a complimentary dram of whisky, making for a cozy atmosphere. The location struck the perfect balance between tranquility and easy access to the city’s attractions. The only minor drawback was the slightly flat pillow, which I found a bit uncomfortable.

The Hedges is a gem! From the complimentary wee dram of whisky to the scrumptious homemade shortbread, my taste buds were tangoing. Plus, the cozy room was a perfect retreat after exploring the city! Our fab hosts made everything feel just right.
The walk to the Royal Mile was a tad longer than expected, but honestly, it was an easy stroll. The fridge could've had a bit more space too, snug as it was only holding our milk!

the only thing we found was that the water heating took a bit to get sorted, but they fixed it quick. oh and maybe there could be more options for breakfast.
